Words and Music
by Raccoon who is
singing while backed up by the band Jello**
as recorded on Nature’s Cathedrals
and Relix Bay
Rock Sampler, Vol. 3***
The
chord progressions to this song are:
·
E, F#m*, G#m*, F#m*
·
E, G, A, B
·
E**, B, A, B, E6, B, A, B
*Note:
The E, F#m and the G#m are the same as the “Sweet Melissa” chords. The open E
is played normally while the F# and G# are played where you would bar them
starting at the 2nd and 4th frets except you leave the
bottom two strings (B and E) open. (I will add chord diagrams later). Also
there is a lick played off the G#m and F#m with the picking on the high-E and B
strings (this will be tabbed out later).
**Note:
The E in the chorus is done using the A-form at the 3th fret. The 2nd
time the E is played during the chorus, the chords is E add 6 which is done by
barring the A-form E chord at the 7th fret, and adding the C# note
on the 9th fret of the high-E string. (I will add chord diagrams
later).
